2020 may prove to be a year of new beginnings for the Braxton family, especially sisters Tamar and Toni Braxton, who are both crazy in love with their boos and eyeing future weddings.
The “Living Legend” has been engaged to rapper and Cash Money Records co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams for over a year, but all the while she has managed to stay rather tight-lipped about their pending nuptials, at least until recently.
While calling into the “Rick and Sasha” morning radio show for an interview on April 9, Braxton addressed the status of her relationship, considering the public hardly ever sees Braxton with Birdman, let alone hears anything about the duo.
“You don’t hardly ever see us together. When we were out there was lot of people saying things, and I’m kind of sensitive. I can’t deny it. We decided we were gonna keep our lives quieter,” explained the “Un-break My Heart” songstress.
Even more revealing was that walking down the aisle is still very much on the table, but the couple just has some planning to work through once and for all.
“You know we have gone back and forth on wedding dates. We had a great date, but then it was getting too big and we didn’t want a big wedding, then we said we don’t want it too small, but then he said, ‘OK, let’s do the drive-thru.’ And I’m like, ‘We are not doing a drive-thru, I am not ordering fries after we get married. We’re not doing it,’” added Braxton. “So we have been trying to figure it out, but we are definitely gonna do it this year.”
At this point fans will have to see it to believe it, especially considering most were surprised the two artists are still an item.
