‘Slide to the Left!’: Phaedra Parks and Her Sons Get Lit During ”Something New’ Challenge

Phaedra Parks apparently has moves fans have never seen before.

The reality star from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” decided to join in on the TikTok craze and feature her two sons Dylan and Ayden Nida. On Sunday, April 5, the mother of two posted a video that showed her and her two children joining in on the “Something New” challenge.

Parks began the video by doing the elbow bump from left to right and shimmying in a straight line, while wearing a yellow unicorn top and curve-hugging leggings. Ayden, 9, followed right after his mother and repeated her stops. Parks’ youngest son Dylan, 6, added a little more oomph to his moves.

She said while it was a little rough for her to adjust to the teaching schedule for her kids, she finally figured out things.

“Everybody knows I have several careers but being a #teacher or #homeschooling my sons was NEVER on my wish or remote possibility list,” she wrote via Instagram on April 1. “However, after 2 weeks of settling into our new normal and adjusting my work schedule to overnight I think I have finally found my rhythm. I used to always say I wanted to spend more time with my children and be more present with my #family and/or #friends – I envisioned an exquisite #vacation/retreat but #God obviously had a different plan but HE has granted me/us this time.”
