Nene Leakes has never been one to hold back her opinions, and she seemingly does not plan on starting now. The longtime cast member of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” rubbed her co-star Eva Marcille the wrong way after she said Marcille should be replaced from their hit reality show. The former “America’s Next Top Model” winner clapped back at Leakes on social media, and now the tea is steaming hot for “RHOA” fans.
Marcille went live on Instagram April 2 to address the OG Housewife for talking about her behind her back. Marcille, who works as a radio personality on “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,” had just finished up filming her portion of the show’s entertainment news segment. Afterward, she posted her message to Leakes on her Instagram story.
“Did the morning news, next Gary is going to be doing his tea. And apparently his tea is about this very wide back lady named Nene. Well, I’m excited because I will have a lot of commentary. And many people have been asking me about what No Storyline Nene has been interviewing about. I don’t even know why she’s doing interviews because she doesn’t have a storyline but she is. And for some very odd reason, my little bright sunflower comes up in her mouth all the time. Now we ain’t friends, we don’t talk,” she said in her video.
She ended her rant by saying, “Why am I a consequence to her? I don’t know. She’s bothered though. She’s threatened. And doesn’t have edges.”
Fans appeared to like how Marcille fired back at the 52-year-old reality star, but unfortunately most of them agreed with Leakes.
“But Eva doesn’t have a storyline 🤔,” one user wrote.
“What is Eva’s storyline besides being pregnant every season!? Honestly she can go 🤷🏽♀️,” a second user said.
A third fan said, “Not gonna lie sis you don’t have a storyline neither……”
“Nene finna chew her up,” a fourth fan commented.
A fifth user wrote, “Eva we forgot you was on the show 🤷🏼♂️.”
“Well what storyline Eva got,” a sixth asked.
Leakes expressed how she felt about her co-stars in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t feel like Eva brings that much to the cast. I’m just being honest. It’s really like, when you look at a show like, everybody — like the whole cast — is away, and you don’t miss the person at all, it’s sort of like, we didn’t even know you were here, you know? And all season, doing a lot of scenes from FaceTime, that’s been the last couple of seasons … So, If I had to change, I would change her,” she said.
The New York native shared that Marcille should be replaced with former “RHOA” cast member Kim Zolciak-Biermann. Zolciak-Biermann claimed she quit the show after season 10 because the series brought on too much stress in her life.
