Is there anything LeBron James can’t do?

That’s because besides winning NBA championships, league MVPs and Olympic gold medals, he also saved Carmelo Anthony‘s life.

While the NBA has been suspended because of the current pandemic, Anthony and Dwyane Wade recently hopped on Instagram Live and talked about several topics, including a trip they took with James to the Bahamas.

Anthony told the story after Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union asked him to.

“That s— got me sweating thinking about that,” said Anthony.

He then said they were all on a boat at first, then jumped off and swam to a grotto. Everyone else swam back to the boat afterward, but Anthony stayed behind, which eventually put him in a dangerous situation.

“It was my fault, though, because I’m still trying to see the last little bit of the barracuda, snorkeling and all that, so it was my fault,” Anthony explained. “Then I look up. The current is taking me in the middle of the ocean, like opposite from the boat.”

“It was windy. It was all type of s—t going on through my head,” he added. “Then I see, I look up at the boat, and I see ’Bron jump off the boat like he is MacGyver. He was bringing me back with one arm. He’s swimming with the other arm, and he’s carrying me in one arm.”

Wade chimed in after that and said he told the story to other people before and still seems to be blown away by it.

“He saved my life,” Anthony stated. “Yo, ’Bron, I appreciate that. You saved my life that day. Them little flippers wasn’t working for me.”

Perhaps not surprisingly, many commented on YouTube after the story was told.

“Bron is literally the closest thing to a superhero,” someone wrote.

“My man has to carry people on the court and off the court 😂,” another person stated.

“I mess wit lebron even more now he saved my favorite player’s life,” a third comment read.
