People around the world seem to admire Ciara and her husband Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson‘s relationship. The couple appears to be madly in love, so fans have always asked the R&B singer what she prayed for to secure a seemingly perfect man and an amazing marriage. To many fans’ surprise, Wilson shared with the world the one prayer request that he put into the universe to find his soulmate, and his response left Ciara in tears.
The Wilsons were on Instagram Live with their friend La La Anthony on March 27. Anthony asked the “Promise” hitmaker to share her personal prayer that led her into a healthy and happy marriage. Ciara revealed that she was intentional about the characteristics and traits that she was looking for in a future partner. In return, Wilson opened about what he was looking for in a partner and the five non-negotiable qualities he absolutely needed in his future spouse.
Russell revealed that he was looking for a woman of faith, a partner who was faithful, a woman who was independent, a woman that loved him the same way his mother loved his father, and a woman that would tilt the room. He continued his spiel by saying, “I wasn’t going to settle for 3 out of the 5, or 4 out of the 5. We were going to go 5 for 5, and that was it. We got 5 for 5, and plus some more.”
His heartwarming message caused Ciara to tear up, and fans were swooning over their lovey-dovey relationship.

Russell and Ciara tied the knot in 2016 and welcomed their baby girl Sienna Princess Wilson into the world the following year. The couple announced in January that they are expecting their second child together.
The Texas native has an additional child outside of her relationship with Wilson. She shares her 6-year-old son Future Zahir Wilburn with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future.
