‘I Just Want Folks To Stop Lying On Me’: Loni Love Seemingly Responds To Tamar Braxton’s Claim About Wanting To Make Peace With Her Former ‘The Real’ Co-Hosts

Tamar Braxton and Loni Love have been publicly feuding for quite some time, and now it appears as if Braxton just wants to make amends with her former “The Real” co-hosts. Love, however, seems reluctant to bury her hatchet with Braxton.

Rumors have swirled that Love wrote letters to the network in the hopes of getting Braxton fired from their daytime talk show. Love’s former friend and comedian Cookie Hull claimed that Love wanted to be the “only ghetto girl” on the show and was ultimately responsible for Braxton’s departure. The stand-up comedian continues to deny the accusations and tweeted this message on March 25, “I have no problems with nobody.. I just want folks to stop lying on me… My new book details how hard I have worked from getting out the projects to becoming an Emmy winning talk show host.”

The “Soul Plane” actress’ message comes one day after Braxton extended an olive branch to her former “The Real” co-host Adrienne Bailon-Houghton. Braxton invited Houghton to participate in Tyler Perry’s “He’s Got The Whole World” singing challenge. The purpose of the challenge is for celebrities to sing the African-American spiritual to spread a sense of peace and hope around the world in the wake of the pandemic.

Social media users were confused why Braxton was communicating with Houghton since Braxton appeared to have fallen out with her former “The Real” panelists after she was fired from the show in 2016. The “Love and War” hitmaker addressed the speculations on Twitter and implied that she was ready to get along with everyone.

“I feel that its the time to get along with everyone. I don’t even have a feeling about people who wronged me in the past. I’m at the point in my life that if that’s your energy that’s on you. NOTHING or NO ONE is going to Dim the light that’s over me. That is mine,” she wrote.

Tamartians were excited to see the R&B singing sensation no longer holding a grudge toward her former friends and co-hosts.

As for Braxton’s tweet, one fan wrote, “@TamarBraxtonHer plus forgiveness takes the hook off of you, so you can move on to live a happy life.”

@TamarBraxtonHerAmen!!!!!,” a second fan virtually shouted.

A third user wrote, “That’s really good! People don’t have to change, you must change! A proud moment for you missy!”

Braxton appeared to be really close to her co-hosts during her time on “The Real.” She went on Instagram Live a few years ago and admitted to missing her friendship with Houghton. It’s unclear to fans just yet if Braxton will ever mend her relationship with Love.
