‘She Don’t Love You That Much’: Safaree Samuels Gets Clowned After Showing Off His Gear for a Trip to the Store

Safaree Samuels seemingly isn’t playing games about keeping himself and his family safe amid the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The “Love and Hip-Hop: New York” star showed fans just how serious is he is, sporting protective gear from head to toe during a run to the pharmacy to fetch his wife, Erica Mena, a nail kit, according to an Instagram post.

Video of the “Buss Ah Blank” rapper dancing and jamming in his car while wearing an oversized poncho, face mask and protective eye goggles had fans doubled over in laughter. While some poked fun at his latest look, others praised him for being extra cautious.

“Looking like a whole science experiment 😭😭,” one fan joked.

“I understand though. He got a brand new baby, gotta be super careful,” said another, coming to the reality star’s defense.

One critic noted that something was off: “He got the damn mask on upside down 😩😂.”

“She don’t love u that much if she sending u for a nail kit,” one critic argued, with others agreeing that the item is “not a necessity.”

“Mans doing a little too much 🤦🏽‍♂️,” someone else chimed in. In contrast, one fan encouraged Samuels to “Protect that baby at all cost 🙌🏾.”

In just the Past two weeks, the number of COVID-19 cases in the U.S had spiked to more than 32,000 by late Sunday afternoon, according to Johns Hopkins University’s live tracker map, with nearly 15,800 in the state of New York. The disease, which can cause an upper respiratory infection, has killed some 400 Americans so far. Public health organizations have urged the public to practice social distancing, staying at home to avoid large crowds if they can.

But Samuels is refusing to stay cooped up. In another clip posted to Instagram this week, the Jamaican rapper showed himself and his daughter out for a stroll in their neighborhood.

“Me & Blanket practicing social distancing out for a walk today 💎❄️,” he captioned the post alongside a video of him dancing and pushing his baby’s (seemingly empty) stroller up the street.

Fans couldn’t help but gush over their daddy-and-daughter time.

“Letsgochamp !!!!!!,” R&B singer Ginuwine commented. “Fatherhood!!!! The best ever !!!! Congrats lil bro love yah king and stay safe outcheah.”

“Look at u all blessed with a wife and a baby. You Definitely living your best life stay blessed ❤️❤️😘😘💋💋🙏🙏,” someone else wrote.

Others weren’t as amused, however, and urged Samuels to “please take that baby in the house.”
