‘What If the Virus Is an Ally?: Keyshia Cole Shares Her ‘Deep’ Thoughts on Current Crisis and Fans React

R&B artist Keyshia Cole shared an interesting take on the current coronavirus pandemic that has left her fans with mixed reactions.

The “Let It Go” singer said a friend of hers expressed that there may be an underlining reason to the virus. She took to Instagram on the night of Thursday, March 19, and wrote, “Someone shared this with me. Thought it was a good prism shift… Amongst all the fear and confusion, there’s this…❤ a different perspective … There is so much fear, and perhaps rightfully so, about COVID-19.”

She added, “And, what if… If we subscribe to the philosophy that life is always working out for us, that there is an intelligence far greater than humans at work… That all is interconnected. What if… the virus is here to help us? To reset. To remember. What is truly important.”

Cole listed the pros of the nation’s self-quarantine, saying that people were given a chance to reconnect with their family, pollute the air less by working from home and to “reconnect with self.”

The singer continued, “What if this virus is an ally in our evolution? In our remembrance of what it means to be connected, humane, living a simpler life, to be less impactful/ more kind to our environment.” She attributed her message to energy healer Gurpreet K. Gill.

Along with Cole’s message, she also posted a photo of herself holding her infant Tobias Khale in her arms.

Fans gushed over her pic, but had different reactions to her message.

“It’s definitely a shift in the atmosphere. All things are working for the greater good. God is in control. I choose to walk by faith never sight. Better days are coming. Be blessed🙌”

“Basically we all need to slow down..see each other..listen to each other and be there for each other again 🙌🏽❤️”

“Yea that’s tru but I have lost my job cause of this …its not funny anymore…”

“Love this message. Really makes you think and take in what’s happening & manifest it but what about the people who lost their jobs who can’t take care of their families. It’s sad but thanks for sharing”

“I agree 💯 in this. It would be nice. To see that kind of change. Well said!”
