Ashanti shared a series of photos of herself on stage Thursday, and there’s one in particular that caused a whole bunch of chatter.
It shows the R&B star either singing or saying something into the microphone. She’s wearing a black fur coat in the pic, shorts that seem to be made out of a fur material, black tights and sunglasses and she has her hair in a long French braid.
“When your hand looks like the emoji 👌🏽😩,” Ashanti captioned the photo.
But many of the singer’s 5.3 million followers said her hand is the last thing they paid attention to, since the shot also shows Ashanti’s backside.
“What hand?” someone asked.
“Nobody was looking at your hand,” read another one of the 400-plus comments.
“You know what we looking at,” one person let Ashanti know.
“👀👀👀👀👀 I wasnt looking at ur hand 😁,” someone else followed.
Then another person asked, “Hand? Where?”
The pic has generated over 54,000 likes, and the other shots that she posted from that same show also received a lot of attention.
One of them shows Ashanti standing close to the edge of the stage. Another pic shows her standing with her hand on her hip.
There’s also a separate photo that shows her singing in front of images of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, who were killed in a helicopter crash last month. Plus, there’s a shot of Ashanti standing on the stage with her arms spread open.
“When your heart is pure & you have nothing to hide…🖤” she wrote next to that photo, which received over 17,000 likes.
“Love you girl. You’re still a beautiful & talented woman,” someone wrote in the comments.
“BODY GOALS😍🔥,” another person stated.
There was also one person who brought up the rapper Nelly, Ashanti’s ex-boyfriend.
“Thats bae Nelly f-kd up👀👀,” that follower wrote.
