‘You Been Pregnant for Years’: Erica Mena Posts Baby Bump, Fans Question Due Date

It seems that Erica Mena is about to deliver her daughter any second now. At least based on an Instagram photo she posted of herself on Tuesday, Jan. 28.

The “Love and Hip Hop: New York” cast member is wearing a mauve dress in the photo and has one hand on her belly.

“Yesterday’s attitude- Back on 🔥,” wrote Mena next to the pic.

Right away, people wanted to know exactly when she’d be delivering.

“When the baby due?” wrote someone on Instagram

“U haven’t dropped yet!😩 Ur belly is still so high. When r u due?” asked another follower.

“Damn boo you still with child??” a third person wrote. “I can NOT you like forever overdue 😂🤣can we meet her already😂.”

“Gurl it feels like you been pregnant for years,” a fourth person stated. “Drop that baby already sheesh.”

Mena and Safaree Samuels announced that they were expecting a child last year, and many have been following the pregnancy on social media.

Before Samuels, Mena was linked to people like Bow Wow, Rich Dollaz, DJ Envy and Cliff Dixon, who was shot and killed in March of last year.

Samuels, of course, used to be with Nicki Minaj, and they had a very public split.

It’s safe to say that many thought Samuels and Mena were faking their relationship for attention or a reality show storyline, but it didn’t take long for people to take them seriously and root for them. Especially since Mena had such a rough go of it in her past relationships.

In fact, she spoke about how Samuels is different from her previous mates during an interview with Hot 97 last year.

“Safaree brings like a calmness and a peace at the same time, still being very exciting,” Mena explained. “That’s something you probably won’t think because he’s so loud to the world.”

“On a regular day to day basis, he just brings this calmness, this peace,” she added. “This like, ‘Wow, we can still laugh and be joyful and exciting but still have this level of just like enjoying life.'”
