Romeo Miller may not be the only one over Angela Simmons’ shenanigans, judging by a photo of her son giving her a strong side-eye.
Simmons and her son, Sutton Joseph Tennyson, were dressed in their Los Angeles Dodgers blue outfits with matching fitted ball caps when she took a moment to capture photos of her and 3-year-old Sutton that had fans cackling.
In one photo, Simmons snapped herself making duck lips as her son looks up at her with a mean side-eye, while the next photo is of the duo both making silly faces. Still, fans couldn’t get over the little one’s initial facial expression.

Since the little one’s father, Sutton Tennyson, was killed in 2018, the 32-year-old is rarely without her son. She often beams with joy in photos and videos of the dynamic mother-son duo, even referring to him as her “little best friend.”
Although she’s a single mother, the “Growing Up Hip Hop” cast member and executive producer has a solid village surrounding her and SJ. For male role models the 3-year-old has his godfather Charles S. Johnson IV, grandfather Rev. Run, and Simmons’ brothers JoJo, Diggy and Russy.
In fact, Simmons’ older brother took her son to get his first haircut and has continued to step up and be a presence in his nephew’s life. When Sutton Tennyson passed, JoJo posted a touching photo of baby SJ being held by Tennyson.
In part, the caption read, “I’m posting this because I just remembered your last words you said to me when I saw you last ‘Hold it down bruh’. I didn’t know I would have to hold it down this way. God works in crazy ways but I’m here to be the man for your son to look up to and call whenever he needs me. @angelasimmons I GOT YOU.”
