The new season of “Love and Hip Hop: New York” is just days away from returning on television, and folks are already anticipating the drama.
On the upcoming season of the show, viewers will witness “LHHNY” star Cyn Santana go toe-to-toe with her ex-girlfriend Erica Mena after Santana apparently found out that Mena was trying to push Tahiry Jose to get back together with Joe Budden.
Santana and Mena have both moved on with their lives after splitting in 2014. Mena is now married to cast mate Safaree Samuels, and Santana is co-parenting with her former fiancé Budden. On the new season, Budden and Santana experience a slew of relationship woes related to the podcaster supposedly cheating on her.
After the pair call it quits, Mena takes it upon herself to play matchmaker between Budden and his ex-girlfriend Jose, whom he proposed to in 2011, years before dating Santana.
Santana learns of Mena’s doings and decides to confront her about it, according to the show’s trailer. Things quickly take a left when the two sit down face to face and Mena tells Santana, “I still don’t know why you’re here.”
Santana replies, “So you’re playing cupid with Tahiry and Joe?” and the camera shows Mena at a loss for words.
“LHHNY” viewers felt it was “messy” of Mena to interject herself in Santana and Budden’s split.
“Erica hella shady for this 😒 she need to grow up. If I was cyn I would knock Erica the f-ck out I love them both but Erica being messsy af.”
“Erica is so trifling like that was that girl fiance and they have a child together like wtf your that miserable.”
“Erica you should have just stayed out of this one when it came to Joe and sins situation cuz you might mean well but it still looks messy.”
“And Erica why the hell would u do Cyn like that? 🙄 She’s so shady u wouldn’t want Cyn to engage in that mess with Safari????”
