It’s safe to say that when a lot of people think of Malia and Sasha Obama, they still have those images of them being children etched into their brains. Because Malia was only 10 and Sasha 7 when they moved into the White House with their parents Barack and Michelle Obama in 2009.
But now, with Malia being 21 and Sasha 18, they’re all grown up, which people took full notice of when the former first lady posted a family photo on Wednesday.
Afterward, a lot of people mentioned how beautiful they thought the sisters were, plus a lot of folks commented on how much they loved Sasha’s look and makeup.
Based on photos that previously surfaced, the Instagram picture was taken in May on the same day as Sasha’s senior prom, since she was seen in the same dress.
“From our family to yours, #HappyThanksgiving!” Michelle captioned the photo that’s already been liked over 5 million times.
“Woah— when did Sasha Obama grow up?” someone asked on Twitter. “And can we get a makeup tutorial and palette information? Thank you! #Obamas #SashaObama.”
“I can’t wait to see what she does in life,” another person wrote about the 18-year-old. “Based on the seriousness of her smokey eye, I already stan.”
“So when exactly does #SashaObama plan on conquering the world? I need to set my clock,” a third person tweeted.
“#SashaObama stay coming for our scalps,” wrote a fourth.
And one guy didn’t comment on Sasha’s makeup, but he apologized to her mother for being attracted to her.
“Mrs.Michelle no disrespect but Sasha is 🔥 😍❗️,” that person wrote.
Meanwhile, Barack didn’t share the same family photo, but he did wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. He did it next to a picture of himself, Michelle and his two daughters handing out food to others.
“Today, we give thanks for our blessings, give back to those around us, and enjoy some time — and turkey, and maybe a little football — with the ones we love. From the Obama family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving,” he wrote.
Sasha, whose real name is Natasha, is currently attending the University of Michigan as a freshman, instead of going to an Ivy League school like her parents and sister.
Michelle obtained her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and Barack received his from Columbia, and they both went to Harvard Law School. Malia also attends Harvard and is expected to graduate in 2021.
