‘Now This Should be Framed’: Phaedra Parks’ ‘Powerful Message’ Overlooked by Fans In Favor of Her Busty Appearance

Phaedra Parks never shies away from a chance to remark on a cause, and that was no different on Oct. 30. But while she wanted to spotlight the importance of breast exams, fans had other interests.

On Wednesday, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum uploaded a busty selfie in a lowcut pink shirt in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Atlanta-based attorney didn’t simply share the photo to Instagram for likes; she had a message to accompany it, too.

“As #women, wives, #sisters and #mothers we often spend more time taking care of others. #Ladies self care is self love,” Parks began. “While we stress checking on our breasts don’t forget about the heart behind them. Heart disease is the leading cause of death among women 💔 Take time to have a physical, #mammogram and stress test-someone is counting on you 🌸 #breastcancerawareness #hearthealth 💕”

The message was heard loud and clear by some of her followers.

“Powerful message 💪🏽 I felt every bit of it🌸💪🏽🌸”

“Doin all this right now. Mammograms friday. Results from cardiology Friday. Better to knw then not knw”

“💯We need our Women❤️💪🏾”

But others would rather remark on the ex-“RHOA” star’s beauty.

“Omg yesss you look beautiful as always ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“NOW THIS SHOULD BE FRAMED”

“Damnn u look well taken care of 🙌🏽”

“Yes Ms. Parks! You better work that pink 💕💕 love you boo @phaedraparks”

While Parks has openly shown off her various curves on her Instagram account, she’s also used the social media site and her platform at large to highlight various charities and causes close to her heart.

Parks famously teamed with Kenya Moore in season 9 of “RHOA” to lend help to children in Flint, Michigan, where the lead-poisoned water rendered it undrinkable. Since then, Parks had continued her philanthropy there through her Phaedra Parks Foundation.

“I am excited to announce the Phaedra Foundation is launching its summer camp program in Atlanta,” she told Bravo ahead of the reunion that season. “The foundation is excited to be collaborating with civil rights icon, former United Nations Ambassador, and former mayor of Atlanta Andrew Young and his brother, also a civil rights activist, professor, and renowned dentist Dr. Walter Young.”

Additionally, her foundation has also launched several S.O.S. programs: Save Our Sons, Save Our Sisters, and Save Our Schools. Each effort is geared toward academic and social success, empowering girls and support school needs respectively.
