President Donald Trump unleashed a blistering attack against former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman, dubbing the former reality TV star a “disgusting and foul-mouthed” woman looking to make some “cheap money” off her tell-all book.
“I’m currently suing various people for violating their confidentiality agreements,” the president wrote in a Twitter rant Saturday morning. “Disgusting and foul mouthed Omarosa is one.”

Trump claimed he gave his former ally “every break — despite the fact that she was despised by everyone, and she went for some cheap money from a book. Numerous others also!”
Trump’s latest attack on Manigault-Newman came shortly after he piled on the praise for now-fired personal assistant Madeleine Westerhout, who was dismissed last Thursday, according to The Hill. The president, 73, described Westerhout as “a very good person,” despite reports that she drunkenly told reporters during an off-the-record meeting how much Trump dislikes being photographed with his daughter Tiffany because he thinks she’s overweight.
In a tweet, Trump said his ousted assistant had called him to apologize and that he accepted her apology. Additionally, he said he didn’t think there would “ever be a reason to use” her confidentiality agreement.
“While Westerhout has a fully enforceable confidentiality agreement, she’s a very good person and I don’t think there would ever be reason to use it,” he wrote Saturday. “She called me yesterday to apologize, had a bad night. I fully understood and forgave her! I love Tiffany, doing great!”
Manigualt-Newman, who was once one of Trump’s most vocal Black supporters, wasn’t extended the same reprieve, however.
The ex-Trump campaign staffer saw her relationship with the president crumble following her ouster from the White House in December 2017 — which she secretly recorded on her cellphone. She would later publish a memoir titled, “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House,” in which she made several bombshell accusations against the commander-in-chief, including that he once used a racial slur on the set of NBC’s “The Apprentice.”
Sources “told me that President Trump hadn’t just dropped a single N-word bomb,” Manigault-Newman, the former White House Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison, wrote. “He’d said it multiple times throughout the show’s taping during off-camera outtakes, particularly during the first season of ‘The Apprentice.’ “
In 2018, the Trump administration filed for arbitration against the former staffer, accusing her of breaching a nondisclosure agreement by publishing her tell-all book. Manigault-Newman addressed the situation Sunday with a statement from her lawyers.

“We represent @Omarosa,” attorney John M. Phillips wrote in a tweet re-shared by Omarosa. “We will soon post all filings in Omarosa’s arbitration action, as we won a ruling it is NOT confidential, despite years of Team Trump claiming it was. We are winning.”
Phillips continued: “Motions to Dismiss are pending. We expect sanctions. Also Trump admitted in his tweet today that he directly (“I”) ordered lawsuits. The campaign has stringently denied this. We demand his immediate deposition now, as he’s directly admitted it now.”
Earlier this year, Manigault-Newman sought to join a lawsuit accusing the Trump campaign of gender pay discrimination, alleging she was paid significantly less than her white male colleagues.
