Some might say if 50 Cent ever got tired of rapping he could do stand-up comedy. Because based on a bunch of comments, he had people cracking up after Floyd Mayweather insulted him.
Round one began on Saturday when Mayweather went to Instagram and brought up four times he believes 50 took a loss.
“It was only 4 shots that ended Curtis 🐀 Jackson rap career,” the boxer started out. “1. You tried desperately to revive your career by going head to head with Kanye West and got dragged publicly, taking a unanimous decision loss.”
“2. Jay Z been killing the champagne game with Ace of Spade selling worldwide at premium prices for well over a decade, while Curtis got a bottle with a cheap chess piece on it that taste like shampoo,” added Mayweather.
He then called 50’s SMS Audio headphones “bullsh–” and said they weren’t only horrible in terms of quality, but they were crushed in the market by Dr. Dre‘s Beats by Dre headphones.
For his fourth point Mayweather brought up Sean “Diddy” Combs and said Cîroc, a vodka brand that Diddy has a piece of and promotes, is light years ahead of EFFEN vodka — which 50 has minority stake in.
“Diddy got Ciroc and its still selling worldwide and you can’t find Effen in no stores and it’s well known the sh– taste like rubbing alcohol,” wrote Mayweather.
50 responded on that same day, and at first it seemed like he was taking the high road, but in the last sentence he showed that wasn’t the case at all.
“Tell Floyd I said he won he is the greatest of all time and nobody I mean nobody can ever take that away from him what he’s done with his life is amazing,” wrote Fif. “I’m done with all of the back and forth. Now Can Someone Please Read This To Champ.#POSTIVE VIBES.”
For those who’ve been keeping track of the beef between the two, they’ll know that 50 has been saying for a while Mayweather can’t read.
Because in 2014 audio footage leaked of the champ reading something for a “Breakfast Club” radio drop, and he seemed to be struggling with the words.
Then that same year, when people were doing the “Ice Bucket Challenge” to bring awareness to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), 50 teased the veteran fighter.
“If you can read one full page of a Harry Potter book, n—a, I’ll give $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want,” he told the boxer on Instagram back then.
In this latest diss to Mayweather, 50’s followers let him know what they thought about it.
“Yal I’m crying, right when I thought this dude had changed his ways for a min😂😭” someone wrote.
“Dammmm cuz u got me dying here crying @50cent funny af.”
#Teampetty 😂😂😂,” a third person hashtagged.
