Watch: Black Woman Takes Less Than 30 Seconds to Fire Atlanta Contractor with Confederate Flag

A Black woman had a quick change of heart when an independent contractor she had hired showed up to her family’s home with a Confederate flag on his truck.

The exchange, which lasted less than 30 seconds, was captured on home surveillance video Saturday.

“You know what, I do apologize,” the resident told the contractor. “I know you’ve come from a very long way, but we’re going to use someone else.”

The woman, identified by Yahoo News as Allison Brown, stood beside a Black man the news organization identified as Zeke Brown.

“She’s upset with the flag,” he said in the surveillance footage.

“No, I’m beyond upset with the flag,” Allison Brown said.

The contractor identified as Michael asked Brown if he would like her to take the flag down, and she said no.

“You continue to believe what you need to believe sir, but no I can not pay you for your services,” she said. “Thank you. Have a good day.”
