‘From Frying Pan To Fire’: Wendy Williams’ Fans Worry New ‘Friend’ Could Make Her Relapse

Last month it was revealed that Wendy Williams is dating a guy named Marc Tomblin, a 27-year-old businessman that her friend Blac Chyna introduced her to.

Since then, some of Williams’ fans have expressed deep concern, firstly because Tomblin reportedly has a criminal record for breaking and entering, as well as robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Secondly, the 54-year-old moved into a sober house earlier this year after she suffered a relapse with addiction. And some are worried that her relationship with Tomblin will make her slip again.

While some don’t seem to fully trust him, others believe that Williams is moving too fast, since she served her ex Kevin Hunter with divorce papers just a few months ago.

“I Love Wendy Williams! But looks like she has a bad choice in men hence the result. I hope she take care of herself. Praying for her!!!” someone wrote last month under a YouTube clip that showed Williams and Tomblin together. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

“From frying pan to fire,” wrote someone else.

Another person gave a very specific, lurid scenario about what could happen to Williams.

“He’s gonna get her so drunk and coked out one day and start pocketing her cash, social security card number and diamonds,” that person commented.

A source for Us Weekly said Williams has been struggling with her sobriety since leaving the sober facility.

“Wendy is not in a good place,” said the insider in June. “Friends close to her are worried she’s spiraling out of control.”

As it was reported, Williams relapsed with alcohol in March after learning Hunter’s reported mistress Sharina Hudson gave birth to a girl. She then had to be rushed to the hospital for IV fluids.

But from the outside looking in, it seems the New Jersey native is now doing OK and is busy creating a whole new life for herself as a single woman.

“Look, my husband had a full baby with a woman he was involved with for 15 years, where I was cooped up only to be a show pony. Now, I’m living my life,” she told TMZ last month.
