“Growing Up Hip Hop” actress and shoe designer Angela Simmons and rapper Ricky Rozay, aka “Rick Ross,” are causing quite a buzz on the Internet.
The two celebrities were spotted on BET’s “blue carpet” together for the network’s 2019 music award show that aired on Sunday. Social media users pointed out that Ross was seemingly invading Simmons’ personal space.
With his arm seemingly around her, the “Stay Schemin'” rapper stood extremely close to Simmons as they were preparing for their Live Twitter session. Ross appeared to be whispering something in the reality star’s ear while she apparently scrunched up her face.
“Live now on the blue carpet @betawards !!! Twitter tune in ! @amandabooz ☝🏽 @richforever 🔵,” she wrote in her Instagram photo caption of her and Ross.
Jo Jo Simmons, Angela’s big brother, commented underneath her post and made reference to Ross looking at his sister like a snack.
“He looking at you like a plat of wing stop 😭,” Jo Jo wrote.
Other fans chimed in, adding that the Miami rapper was too close for comfort.
“Rick ✋ she dont want none of your chicken wings he look like he trying to beg for a kiss lol.”
“These rappers want to turn you out so bad lmfaooo 🤣 u too close to my bae Ross.”
“Ricky better stop playing his baby momma gonna be mad 😂😂 I wonder what was he saying?”

If the former prison guard was trying to shoot his shot with Angela, he wouldn’t be the first artist to do so. Rapper Young Gotti also admitted to having a crush on the Pastry shoe designer and even shouted her out in his song “Down In the DM.” Child star and rapper Lil Romeo also made it known in the past that he had a thing for the 31-year-old mother.
Nevertheless, Simmons was last said to be dating Brooklyn Nets NBA player Allen Crabbe. She was spotted at one of the shooting guard’s games in March, and was seen apparently riding out with Crabbe afterward in his car. They also posted each other on their Instagram stories as they jammed to “Spend the Night” by singer Rahsaan Patterson.
