Ciara’s recent bonding session with her son has fans raving and even throwing a little shade at her ex-fiancé.
The singer uploaded a photo of her smiling with her son Future Zahir as he lovingly wraps his arms around her neck. Also smiling at the camera, he rests his head on his famous mom’s shoulder as she places her hand on his hands.

The last comment refers to the high-priced gift Future got from his dad, rapper Future, for his fifth birthday earlier this month. In a since-deleted Instagram post, the Atlanta-based performer showed off the nearly $30,000 watch he gifted his young son.
Backlash came swiftly at the rapper with many remarking about how unnecessary such a gift is.

In honor of Future’s May 19 birthday, Wilson and Ciara held a birthday party themed after Marvel’s Avengers. Wilson also wrote a loving ode to his stepson.
