It looks like Kenya Moore has better things to do than to mull a return to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
As fans continue to beg the new mom to come back to the Bravo reality series, she’s landed a new acting gig and then some.
The star shared a photo on her Instagram page Wednesday posting with iconic actress Loretta Devine on the set of the upcoming Netflix series “Family Reunion,” which is currently filming.
“Nothing but love for this hilarious, talented, gracious and beautiful soul @lodivadevine. We first worked together on Waiting To Exhale which was my first movie role. Just a joy to work with. Catch us on #familyreunion on @netflix,” Moore captioned the photo op.
“Family Reunion” stars Devine and Tia Mowry and is a multi-generational, multi-camera comedy series, Netflix announced in October 2018. The 20-episode set will follow Mowry’s free-spirited character and her ex-football player husband as they and their four kids travel from Seattle to Columbus, Georgia, for a family reunion. Devine plays the family’s loving yet strict matriarch.
It’s not clear exactly when the show will begin airing, but production began on it in fall 2018. Moore’s character and a premiere date have yet to be revealed.
Moore began teasing fans that she was working on her first series acting gig in years earlier this week, sharing glimpses of the script at what looked to be a table read and giving her followers a tour of the lot on her Instagram Story.
“Loving acting, love working, love having playtime — getting to play different characters,” she said on her Instagram Story on Tuesday as she walked around Paramount Studios.
Meanwhile, fans have been boosting up Moore for her ability to balance working and being a mom to Brooklyn Doris Daly.
