Like many have said since Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed on Sunday, 50 Cent is confused about it all, which he admitted on Instagram.
“Man I really liked Nipsey, it’s harder for me to express it,” he wrote on Wednesday. “When ever I get quiet it’s because I don’t understand. R.I.P #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac.”

Right away, many of 50’s followers gave a theory about why it’s harder for him to speak about Hussle’s killing than others, and it had to do with someone trying to take 50’s life almost 20 years ago.
On May 24, 2000, at 11:22 a.m., the G-Unit rapper was shot several times in his home borough of Queens, New York, while he was sitting in a parked car, and fans say that’s the reason he’s struggling so much.
“I understand you been through it and survived it 🙏🏾💖🙏🏾,” one person wrote under 50’s post.
“People tend to forget that 50 cent been shot (more than once) and survived it,” wrote someone else. “So he probably having a hard time dealing with this news like we all are. Everyone don’t have to post the same time as the internet or anyone else does.”
Some also gave the “In Da Club” rapper encouragement and told him to keep his head up.
“Same way they wanted to take your life but some how some way you survived that should be the greatest thing God did to you,” someone messaged. “You are destined for greatness big bro! Now it’s clear that you are here for a real reason.”
50 also acknowledged Nipsey’s death in an April 2 Instagram post and sent a heartfelt message to his loved ones.
“To: Nipsey’s Real friends and family I send my Sincere condolences. I’m sorry for your loss God bless,” wrote Fif.
But afterwards, his archnemesis Ja Rule clowned him and wrote, “What a bozo.”

As reported, Hussle was gunned down in the Hyde Park section of Los Angeles outside of his clothing store, and police have already arrested a man named Eric Holder for the shooting.
Plus, a woman who has yet to be identified and reportedly drove the getaway car turned herself in to police on Monday. She’s now cooperating with detectives and hasn’t been arrested yet, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Based on the woman’s claims, she had no idea Holder was going to shoot Hussle.
