Despite their former social media squabbles, “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Masika Kalysha and rapper Fetty Wap are showing they can co-exist with each other for the sake of their 3-year-old daughter.
Kalysha and Fetty ended their romantic relationship years ago, but that doesn’t prevent them from maintaining a co-parenting tie-in with each other. The pair just celebrated their daughter Kharie Barbie Maxwell’s third birthday party this past weekend and appeared to be all smiles.
The reality television veteran took to Instagram on Monday morning with a few photos of her daughter seemingly having the time of her life at her mermaid-themed birthday celebration. One of the images was also a family portrait of herself, baby Kharie and the “Trap Queen” musician posing together.

Seemingly referring to her ex-lover and toddler’s father’s connection with their daughter, Kalysha wrote in her caption “Unbreakable bond… #kharibarbiesmermaidparty.”
A slew of fans applauded Kalysha and Fetty’s ability to co-parent effectively for their daughter.
“I love the way you guys can coparent and not let whatever nonsense is going on between anybody getting between the special time you have with your daughter 😍😍😍,” one person wrote. “That is parenting to the fullest and I see it in you all the time.”
A second fan added, “They are both great parents! She khari looks super happy! God bless 🙏 and proud of ya’ll.”

However, there were still a few critics lurking in Kalysha’s comments, judging her for having a child with a man who has seven children.
“Your so proud n honored he’s your babydaddy,” one denouncer wrote. “I’ve never seen a women post so many pics of there babydaddy the way you do. Everyone knows that’s her dad. Like relax your not the first or the last babymama.”
Another commented, “Masika happy as s— she one of the babymoms 🤭🤮.”
Kalysha and Fetty began dating around 2015 and became parents of their baby girl in March 2016. However, the “1738” artist accused Kalysha of “trapping” him to get pregnant and claimed she was just a one-night stand.

“Basically, she knew what she was doing,” he told gossip site Shade Room before the birth of their daughter. “I wasn’t just no random dude in the club, you know what I’m saying? She knew I was going to be there, and that’s how that happened.”
Kalysha disputed the rapper’s accusation, assuring they were in a full relationship and that she called their relationship quits due to his affairs with other women.
Nevertheless, the former couple have apparently put their differences to the side and are taking a higher road in co-parenting their child.
