Reginae Carter, the daughter of rapper Lil Wayne, and her mother Toya Wright has social media in a tizzy.
The mother-daughter duo recently debuted new looks in a photo together, and fans could hardly get enough. The 20-year-old took to Instagram on Feb. 3 and shared a photo of her and Wright before they headed off to watch Super Bowl LIII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta.
In the photo, Wright sported a black and gold hooded Moschino dress to seemingly represent her favorite football team, the New Orleans Saints, who finished just shy of making it to the Super Bowl. Carter was also dressed in all black all while donning a “FendiMania” double F logo belt bag that retails for $1,290, with matching Fendi sneakers.

Wright posed with her left elbow on her mother’s right shoulder and captioned the image “Super bowl with my mama❤️.”
Fans swooned over the “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” alum’s photo with Wright and commented how beautiful they looked.
“It’s scary how much y’all look alike ❣️😩,” a fan wrote. “Ya’ll look f–king beautiful 😻 ❤️.”
Another added, “when ya momma look like ya fine ass older sister 😍 good lawdt!”
“Look like sisters 😍 beautiful,” another person wrote. “The world can’t hold this beautiful scenery 😍💗 #twinning.”
Since the premiee of “GUHHATL” in 2017, fans have often criticized their relationship by saying that Wright acts more like Carter’s friend than mother. Several people also called the 20-year-old spoiled, disrespectful and disobedient to her mother after a scene depicted Carter seemingly talking back to her mother.
Wright defended her daughter against naysayers and claimed We TV portrayed her daughter in a negative light.
“I put up with the BS last season. I refuse to let y’all play my child and me like I raised a disrespectful brat. The editing of this show is f*cking ridiculous.. enough is enough. Please don’t call us next season. #wedone,” Wright wrote in a now deleted Instagram post.
Neither Carter or Wright has appeared on “GUHHATL” since season 1 and Toya’s January 2018 threats to quit the show.
