Russell Wilson posted a video of his wife Ciara on Instagram that got huge attention.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback shared the clip on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3, and revealed that he and the R&B star were heading out on a date night. Ciara sported a long black dress with a high split, and Wilson showed her walking down the steps toward him.
“When your lady is coming down the way,” he said in the clip. “It’s about that time. Date night.”
He also captioned the video.
“Can’t believe my eyes,” wrote Russell. “Love you Mrs. Wilson.”
The post drew different kinds of reactions. Some commented on how stunning they thought Ciara looked, while others mentioned how much they admired the way Russell compliments her.
“Yes, slay it lady,” one person wrote.
“She’s a beauty,” wrote another. “Wish more men would treat their women with so much love [and] respect.”
There were also folks who said Future regrets splitting with Ciara since the two were engaged from 2013 to 2015 and have a son, Future Zahir Wilburn, who was born on May 19, 2014. Reportedly, Ciara split with Future after he cheated on her with his assistant Tyrina Lee.
“Future out there writing a new song lmfao whilst crying,” someone wrote under the video.
“Future lettin off shots,” a second person commented.
But despite people accusing Future of regretting that he’s no longer with Ciara, the rapper actually said he’s happy for her and Wilson. It was something he admitted on his Freebandz radio program during a Jan. 23 interview.
“We don’t have no problems,” Future stated. “It’s a social media problem. No, I don’t hate him. Totally not the deal. It was just the way we were carrying it, as far as being handled with baby Future. I don’t have nothing against [Wilson], and I’m happy for them.”
Future made those comments because on Thursday, Jan. 17, the rapper said he didn’t like that Wilson was posting photos of his son without talking to him yet.
