Porsha Williams Responds After Phaedra Parks Gives Details About Meeting Her New Man

Phaedra Parks stepped out on New Year’s Eve in Chicago with radio host Tone Kapone, and since then the Windy City TV personality has confirmed the two are indeed a pair.

As such, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum has been getting lots of adoration for her newfound love from her former co-stars — including Porsha Williams.

Parks shared a video of Kapone chatting about his new romance on Jan. 11 with The U’s “The Jam” morning show.

“She’s funny as ever. Like, just one of the funniest women I’ve ever met,” Kapone says with a smile of his girlfriend. “She’s super cool.”

He added that the pair met through mutual friends and then he took to DMs to make his first move.

“So now you know just slide into the DMs—-take a chance 💞 thanks @twinvarney for introducing us 😘 ❣️@tonekapone33,” Parks playfully said in the video’s caption.

Parks got lots of praise from her former “RHOA” co-stars, including Nene Leakes and Eva Marcille, who liked the post.

“I love it,” Leakes said.

But when Williams chimed in she effectively made it clear that she and Parks — also known as Frick and Frack — have no hard feelings years after a rumor about Kandi Burruss led Parks to lose her peach.

“This is too cute! He’s such a great guy,” Williams said.

The comment from Williams, whom viewers last saw in tears on the “RHOA” season 9 reunion when she accused Parks of lying about the rumor that Burruss wanted to drug and rape her, had fans applauding Frick and Frack being on good terms.

“@porsha4real i Love me some frick and frack @phaedraparks.”

“@porsha4real @phaedraparks FRICK AND FRACK!! 🗣We need y’all back❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Hey luv I’m so happy for you.. Team Frick and Frack.. 💃💃❤️😘”

“@porsha4real come on frick & frack 😩😍🔥🙌”

This is the latest example of Williams showing she and Parks are all good. On Jan. 10, the mom-to-be left a complimentary remark on her pal’s photo in which Parks posed in a denim jacket and jeans.

“What waist,” Williams commented, remarking on how fit Parks looked.

“Thanks sis 😘,” Parks said in her reply.

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
