Singer Keyshia Cole shared a sweet throwback photo of her and her 8-year-old that had fans swooning.
Cole took to Instagram for “Throwback Thursday” on Thursday, Jan. 10, and posted an old photo of her and her son Daniel Gibson Jr. sitting outside of their home. The mother-and-son duo were sporting matching “Icon” gear while the 8-year-old holds up his hands in seeming prayer. Cole locked eyes on the camera as she squatted on the wooden bench.
The “I Remember” singer tagged little Gibson in her caption and wrote, “#TBT #Mommy & Me God is good🙏🏽 @daniel_gibsonjr.”

The “sweet” picture of Cole and her son had fans fawning over their mother-and-son moment.

Cole welcomed her son DJ. in March 2010 with her estranged-husband, former NBA player Daniel ‘Booby’ Gibson.
The R&B artist and Gibson, who tied the knot in May 2011, announced their divorce in April 2017. Gibson allegedly cheated on Cole with a stripper.
“I won’t say that I didn’t cheat, but I will say that I cheated my wife out of a friend in a lot of situations where I was supposed to hold her down and I didn’t,” Gibson revealed to RollingOut Magazine in 2014. “I cheated my wife out of a lot of different things. … I take that responsibility — I do.”
Not long after Cole filed divorce, Gibson reportedly requested full custody of their son DJ and asked for spousal support, according to the gossip sheet the Jasmine Brand, which claimed to have obtained court documents supporting its reporting. The basketball player, who played seven seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, later rebutted the claims.
“Mr. Gibson wishes to clarify that he is not actively seeking spousal support and full custody,” his attorney stated. “Mr. Gibson submitted a full settlement proposal to Ms. Cole some time ago, which excludes spousal support and includes a shared custodial plan for their son.”
Cole said during a co-host gig with “The Real” in 2017 that she and Gibson are on good terms and are currently co-parenting their son.
