Master P Says Parents of the Alleged R. Kelly Victims Should Be Blamed: ‘Ain’t Nobody Gonna Play with My Kids’

The reactions to the Lifetime docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly” are still coming in, and many continue to blast the R&B singer for the allegations.

One person who weighed in was Master P, and he said much of the blame should go to the alleged victims’ parents because they didn’t do enough to rescue their kids.

In an Instagram video, P referred to the docuseries as a reality show and criticized the parents who gave interviews for a Lifetime project instead of going to a news channel. The rapper also talked about those parents who tried to reclaim their children, and he believes they just didn’t do enough.

“Let me tell y’all about R. Kelly,” P began. “The truth is I don’t like the parents. Y’all know I ain’t gonna be on no reality show or Lifetime. I’ma be on CNN, straight up. It’s gonna get real, think about it. I’m not about to play with nobody, I’ma burn it down, I’m gonna do something.

“Ain’t nobody gonna play with my kids. Straight up,” he continued. “You shouldn’t have even been on TV, and if you a parent you shouldn’t be on that unless you on CNN from a jail cell. I don’t know if R. Kelly did it or not, that ain’t any of my business, I ain’t judging, but I’m just saying those parents shouldn’t have let that go that far. If you got love for your kids, you are going to war behind your kids. You ain’t doing no reality show.”
