“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Kirk Frost appears to be grieving the death of his older brother Keith Frost after learning he passed away on New Year’s day.
Frost took to Instagram on January 1 and shared a throwback photo of him and his brother Keith, who passed away just a year after their mother Gloria Frost. The reality star said he still hasn’t quite recovered from the death of his mom and seemingly suggested that his brother’s loss was too much to bear.
“January 2018 I lost my mother & now today January 1st 2019 I lost my oldest brother Keith Frost my heart hasn’t had a chance to heal from my mom & now this,” Frost wrote on Instagram on Tuesday. “I don’t even know what to say man, I love you…”
Frost revealed that he talked to his big brother Keith the day before he died “just to say what up & we love each other.” He went onto thank his sibling for all that he’d done for him and their other brothers.

“Thank you for being that big brother who looked out for all your brothers me, Kevin & Poncho you took on that roll & made sure you did all you could for us growing up,” Frost added.
The father of seven didn’t specify how his brother died, but noted that he “was fighting with all” he had “but God has the last say.”
Celebrities including Kandi Burruss, Tiny Harris, Tammy Rivera, Jermaine Dupri and a few others sent their condolences to Frost on social media.
Frost’s wife Rasheeda Frost also shared her deepest sympathies for the loss of her brother-in-law and reflected on their time together.
“Man… Rip Frost I’m gonna miss you & how you loved for me to cook & then try to jack my recipes,” she wrote. “I love you!”
Fans also chimed in and added their condolences.

Kirk lost his mother Gloria on January 26, 2018, while filming season 6 of LHHATL. He revealed on the show that his mother was found deceased in her home after failing to answer the door for a scheduled visit. The police were later called and authorities found her non-responsive. She passed away at 66 years old.
