K. Michelle let fans know on Wednesday that she would protect her 14-year-old son by any means.
The “Can’t Raise a Man” singer revealed to fans years ago that she’s an overprotective mom when it comes to her only child Chase. She’s been adamant about keeping him off of reality television and under the radar. In a recent Instagram post, the 33-year-old mother made it clear once again that she would defend her son if anything were to happen to him.
“Love little and my new ones already 😉 I love being a mom, id go to war with a million for you Chase! Know that!” K. Michelle wrote in a recent caption of an October interview with TV One’s “Uncensored”.

During the interview, the singer also discussed her close bond with her son by saying, “My son will go to war for me. It’s nothing like a little boy and how he loves his mom.” She added that if anything were to happen to her son like many other Black children who were victims of police brutality, she knows she’d “be in jail.”
Many parents in K. Michelle’s comments said they could completely relate to the star’s overprotective nature as a mother.

K. Michelle recently announced on Instagram Live, that she will be a new mom in 2019.
“My Surrogate has been approved!” she wrote on her Instagram Story December 19. “They say she’s really kind and a perfect match for my babies. I thank God for her.”
