Tamar announced on Instagram Wednesday that she is planning to perform at Sony Hall in New York City and Washington, D.C.’s historic Howard Theatre with none other than her fellow vocalist sibling Traci to open for her.
“Guess what everybody!!!!…. I’ve asked my AMAZING sister @therealtracibraxton to open up for me in nyc @sonyhall Dec. 28th and in OUR hometown @howardtheatre Dec. 29th!!! I’m so excited that we are working together!! 🙏🏽 let’s see if she will join the #tamartian meet and greets too💝 #merrychristmas #familyovereverything💯” Tamar eagerly shared on Instagram Dec. 19.
Fans couldn’t help but gush over the sisterly act.
“That’s awesome!!! I love it.”
“Now that’s what I love to see @tamarbraxton !!!! ❤️❤️”
“Come on Tray tray & Tay Tay @therealtracibraxton @tamarbraxton 👏🏽❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽”
“LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. LOOK AT GOD‼️‼️”
“Damn anybody gonna at least congratulate Traci? It’s about time that she gets some love and recognition from her sister. Love you Traci Braxton.”
“I ❤️ Tracy Braxton get yo coins and use yo sister to do it @therealtracibraxton.”
The move comes after Braxton had publicly patched things up with sister Trina Braxton saying in part, “I’ve decided I’ve realized change is just one simple DECISION!!!! No matter what it takes my commitment to me is to be a BETTER me. Sometimes all it takes is saying I Love you and I’m sorry for MY PART of the bulls— @trinabraxton1.”
While her followers praised the change, they wondered about Traci, who Tamar notably had an emotional exchange with during a family intervention with Iyanla Vanzant. That came after Traci continued to shoot “Braxton Family Values” when the rest of the family walked off the set over the summer.
