“Love and Hip Hop: New York” star Safaree Samuels shared a photo from his past that had fans wondering if one of the women featured was his former flame Nicki Minaj.
Samuels took to social media this week and posted a throwback photo of himself attending a graduation with his relatives, but fans quickly turned their attention to the woman standing in the middle.

Samuels clarified in his image caption that it was he, his two sisters and mother in the photo.
“I been Extra my whole life! Don’t ask me why I am the way i am,” he wrote. “This was at my SIS graduation 🎓 Raised by Queens. Momma stunts Sam and Neeqs!!”
Other fans fawned over how handsome the VH1 star looked in his younger days.

Nevertheless, Samuels and Minaj have a long history together. The couple was together for 12 years before calling it quits in 2014 after they both accused each other of cheating and lying during a Twitter debacle. The reality star told the “Breakfast Club” in a 2015 interview that he walked away from their relationship after being disrespected for years.
“I just got to the point where the respect wasn’t there,” Samuels told the radio station. “Everyone around her works for her, you know? So it got the point where it was like, I’m your man. I’m who you go to sleep with every night. I’m who you wake up with every morning. And it got to the point where I was being treated like an employee, instead of like her man.”
