It’s been an eventfull 24 hours for Cardi B to say the least, because she not only announced a split from her husband Offset, but she shared the very first photo of their daughter Kulture.
This is after the Bronx rapper was adamant about not showing the baby’s face, because she simply wasn’t ready.
“My heart,” she captioned the photo, which shows baby Kulture staring upward with a half smile, lounging in a car seat.
Of course, the kind words came quickly and people were taken aback by how adorable the little one is.
“She’s so cute. She looks like Hennessy,” someone wrote,” mentioning Cardi’s sister.
“She’s so beautiful. Enjoy,” wrote another. “Those sweetest baby cheeks. They seem to grow up overnight.”
But some people thought it wasn’t a coincidence that Cardi posted the photo right after she announced the end of her marriage, and it was actually Offset who didn’t want his daughter’s image released.
“Must’ve been only your baby father wanting to keep the pictures away,” one person commented.
It’s possible fans may never know if Offset was the one keeping Cardi from posting a photo of Kulture, but he hasn’t shared her picture on his Instagram page, which might be telling.
Then again, Offset is currently enshrouded in controversy after a woman accused him of trying to set up a threesome with the rapper Cuban Doll and Cuban’s friend. It’s something the Migos member denied, and it’s not clear if that’s the rumor that ended his marriage.
And as for the new photo of Kulture, it’s received over 3 million likes in just an hour, which shows how eager folks were to see the baby and how many fans Cardi actually has.
