“The View” host Whoopi Goldberg had an epic response to President Trump’s comments on voter fraud after he claimed that citizens change clothes multiple times in order to cast their votes more than once.
Goldberg has been extremely vocal about her dislike for the president and slammed him for his latest conspiracy theory. Trump opined on Florida’s voter recount in the gubernatorial elections on Wednesday by claiming that voters used disguises to cast multiple ballots.
“When people get in line that have absolutely no right to vote and they go around in circles,” the president told the Daily Caller during an interview. “Sometimes they go to their car, put on a different hat, put on a different shirt, come in and vote again. Nobody takes anything. It’s really a disgrace what’s going on.”
“It’s true,” co-host Joy Behar confessed jokingly. “I voted last week as myself, and I’m going to vote this week as Bette Midler.”
Goldberg wasn’t buying Trump’s theory on voter fraud either, and mocked the president’s remarks by sharing a few photos of her most famous characters she’s played in films plastered at voting polls.
The “Sister Act” actress added, “Because now I know I’m not alone in my multi-voting. So, last week, this was me at the midterms, my first trip to the polls.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin chimed in and indicated the ways around voter fraud is almost impossible.
Goldberg responded, “Forget the evidence! The man said people are changing their clothes! It’s like you’re like Superman, you’re like, ‘Let me change my clothes.'”
The host said she was blown away by folk’s ability to believe every word Trump says.
