Lee is still being held in Cobb County jail since being arrested in mid-October for physically assaulting her daughter at Griffin Middle School near Atlanta, Georgia. She was arrested twice within a 48 hour period, but the longevity of Lee’s stay in jail has yet to be confirmed.
On Nov. 1, a person from Lee’s team reached out to fans through Twitter and encouraged folks to write the “LHHATL” star a letter while she remains on lockdown. It’s not clear exactly who the person is that tweeted from the 34-year-old’s social media account, but the he or she wrote, “Will be getting the address so you guys can send Tommie some letters while she’s away” and added, “Tommie is currently held in Cobb county details to send her letters soon ❤️.”
The unknown individual also took the opportunity to address critics who slammed Lee for her parenting skills and accused the television personality of being a “child abuser.”
“What we’re not gonna do is act like everyone is perfect,” the tweet read. “She’s a work in progress just like everyone else.”
Several of Lee’s fans continued to send positive vibes the star’s way.
“Omg I hope this the last time I just pray she’s okay.”
“We all make mistakes all we can do is learn from them, praying for you.”
“Free bae I am praying for Tommie.”
“Keep your head and don’t stop praying❤.”
Lee allegedly slammed her daughter’s head into a locker and was arrested for child cruelty, battery and aggravated assault. However, less than three hours after she was released from jail, she violated a court order by making contact with her daughter. The reality star returned to jail and has been held without bond since.
