Toya Wright has been quiet about her stance on her daughter Reginae Carter‘s relationship with rapper YFN Lucci, but in this “T.I & Tiny: Family & Friends Hustle” promo she lets her daughter know exactly how she feels.
In a sneak peek of the upcoming show, Wright and Carter are sitting on the couch with baby Reign Rushing and discussing some things they needed to catch up on. Wright brought up the teenager’s 27-year-old boyfriend. Carter said, “I really like him. He’s sweet and livin’ life. Living our best life.”
Wright blatantly told her daughter, “I don’t like the age difference. I don’t like the fact that he have four kids because I mean you trying to be stepmom, honey?” She went on and said, “You know how I feel about that whole rapper thing. I dated your daddy when I was younger than that and there’s a whole lot that comes with that lifestyle. And that’s the last thing I want or any mother want.”
Carter has been dating Lucci for a few months and she has been receiving plenty of backlash from fans. Earlier this month, Carter and Lucci were dragged for being very handsie on Instagram Live. The fans were outraged, “If i was Wayne i would be blowin sum up right about now,” one fan wrote.
