Steve Harvey is helping an Indianapolis Colts player when it comes to finding his mom the man of her dreams.
The talk show host featured the mother of defensive end Tarell Basham on his talk show Thursday, Oct. 4 after Basham asked Harvey to get his mom someone who can provide for her rather than the other way around.
“She’s been taking care of me and my two siblings our entire life,” Basham tells the comedian in a video sent to “Steve.” “It’s about time for Glenda to find somebody that is willing to take care of her. You’re the only man for the job, Steve. Help me out.”
Glenda said she got used to being single and that’s why she’s only ever dated on and off since 2012. She said she’s looking for a man who is respectful and self-sufficient.
So, much as he did for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey, Harvey had a panel of three guys answer questions to discover who would be the best fit for the single mom of three adult kids.
Each potential suitor — Henley, Marlon, and David — is from Virginia where Glenda lives. They were asked to answer questions like “What do you value most in a relationship?”, “What won’t you tolerate from a woman?” and “What do you believe is your worst quality?”
Ultimately, Glenda chose Henley, a firefighter and business owner who said his worst quality is that he doesn’t quit.
Those who caught the moment sounded off in the comments section online.
