Naomi Campbell’s Icy Response to Kendall Jenner’s Stance on Booking Runways Is a Must-See

Naomi Campbell is one of the top shade-throwers in the entertainment business, and she stayed true to that during a recent talk show appearance.

When the supermodel went on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” she was asked about some remarks that Kendall Jenner told Love magazine in August.

“Since the beginning, we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f— those girls do,” the highest-paid model said. “More power to ‘em. But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back.”

It didn’t take nearly as many words for Campbell to reply to Jenner, who seemingly dissed Campbell and models like her who had to grind to book shows on their rise to the top in order earn a living doing what they love.

“Next question,” Campbell said on the show Wednesday. Immediately, host Andy Cohen moved on to chat about Global Citizen Festival. It’s a concert event aimed at ending extreme poverty that she’s hosting in New York and co-hosting and producing in South Africa.

Jenner has not replied to Campbell’s remarks, but back in August, amid criticism from fashion stars like blogger Bryan Boy and model Vlada Roslyakova, she tweeted that she was “misrepresented” in the article.

“I was misrepresented in a recent interview over the wknd & it’s important to clarify the meaning,” she said. “It was intended to be entirely complimentary but unfortunately, my words were twisted & taken out of context. I want to be clear. The respect that I have for my peers is immeasurable!”

Presently, many have chimed in on Campbell’s response to Jenner’s initial comments.

“Exactly!! learn from queen Naomi, if you dont have anything nice to say about something or someone, dont say nothing at all!, its a waste of time and energy, next!”

“NAOMI defined her model era: hard work, stunning looks and striking personalities. kendull defines this era: fake insta followers, boring looks and no personalities.”

“Queen of SHADE 😍😍😍”
