Naturi Naughton posted some photos and a video from the set of “Power” that caused great excitement among fans of the show. It was the cast’s first day back shooting the sixth season.
“Tasha is back,” wrote Naughton next to a photo of herself dressed in black. “First day back on set of @power_starz. I Love our #PowerSquad. #Season6, #ItJustKeepsGettingBetter, #blessingsonblessings, #toBeAWorkingActor.”
Besides her solo picture, Naughton walked around the set and got photos of the cast, plus some behind the scenes folks. She also posted a video of herself and estranged TV husband Omari Hardwick, aka, Ghost St. Patrick.
“First day,” said Hardwick. “Transitioning back.”
“The St. Patricks,” Naughton then followed. “We out here.”
There’s a photo of Naughton and her mom on the show Debbi Morgan as well, plus one with Joseph Sikora who plays Tommy Egan. “Power’s” creator Courtney A. Kemp is in a couple of the shots too.
The stills and video sparked all kinds of responses on social media, but mainly about how season 5 ended with the character Angela Valdes being shot.
“Still feeling salty with the ‘Power’ crew,” one person wrote. “That last episode was deep.”
“Casting Debbi Morgan is pure genius,” wrote another. “Much respect.”
And as it usually happens when Naughton posts photos or messages about “Power,” people addressed her as Tasha.
“Tasha, please tell me Terry Silver isn’t dead,” wrote one Twitter user.
The sixth season of “Power” is scheduled to return in 2019.
