Kodak Black Alludes to Drinking Problem as Strange Threats Against A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Don Q Surfaces

Kodak Black issued a threat to New York rappers A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Don Q over the weekend.

“I want to beat up A Boogie ass and Don Q,” said Kodak on Instagram Live. “I finna punch you f—n—– up … I’m finna beat up everybody in the world. I can press these f— n—– tonight. F— music. I got more money. I ain’t got to rap a day in my life.”

The threat comes nearly one month to the day that Kodak was released from prison after serving seven months for possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Since then it seems like the Florida rapper has faced some personal challenges, namely with alcohol, which may or may not have something to do with the Instagram threat.

“I gotta kick dat liquor,” Kodak tweeted on Sunday (Sept. 16), several hours after he went at the New York rappers. Another tweet implied the young rapper was less than aware of his actions the night before, “Waking Up And Not Knowing What You Did Last Night Ain’t Boss Shit”

Kodak also posted a message about friendship and money.

“Every brother ain’t your brother,” he wrote. “When you free and getting money everybody hate you, but when you locked up and fighting for your freedom everybody praise you … Sometimes the gift can be a curse.”

As far as the threat, A Boogie hasn’t responded yet but Don Q did.

On Monday (Sept. 12), the up-and-coming Bronx rapper posted old footage of Kodak boxing someone and poked fun at him.

“You want to fight me, bro?” asked Don. “You can’t be serious. I’ll do whatever you want to do, and I’ll knock you the f– out.”

Kodak hasn’t responded yet, but he tweeted a few more messages that concerned his fans.

In one of them, Kodak said that he’ll release just two more albums then quit music altogether. Plus, the 21-year-old said he can’t take being scrutinized by everyone.

“I hate everybody watching me and judging me,” he wrote. “That only cause me to show y’all my ass.”

Kodak mostly received positive messages from his fans who were encouraging him to keep his head up.

“Nothing you can ever do about the haters, just keep living your life 🙏🏽,” wrote one person. Another added, “Stay focused young King. They want u to fail. I want to see I prevail 💪🏾👑.”

“Everybody gone judge u cuz they don’t understand how u was raised n brought upon .. I just be laughing tf u like what u see😭 u got the problem.. u different don’t be ashamed.. but deadass people annoying 🤦🏽‍♀️”
