Steve Harvey knows better than to underestimate the power of the BeyHive.
The talk show host on Tuesday discussed former neighborhood watchman’s George Zimmerman’s alleged threats against Beyoncé, and Harvey is apparently so impressed with the singer’s fans’ fierce loyalty that he wants them to take him in.
Reports emerged earlier this week that Zimmerman, who was acquitted in 2013 of killing unarmed teen Trayvon Martin, threatened Bey and her husband Jay-Z when he learned the rapper was making his documentary “Rest In Power: the Trayvon Martin Story.”
“Oh yeah and tell Jay-Z he’s a b—- and his wife’s a broke whore,” read one of the texts Zimmerman allegedly sent.
“If I see either of them in my life, they’ll find themselves inside a 13 foot gator,” he added according to The Blast.
“This is a direct message, Let me talk to my social media,” Harvey begins on “Steve In the Morning” on Sept. 11. “I’m asking the BeyHive to please adopt me. If you could just treat me a tenth as good as you treat Beyoncé, I’ll be more than happy. And go get all them haters that’s comin’ after me. I want the BeyHive to adopt a 61-year-old Black man. I need leadership, guidance and a family, and I want it to be the BeyHive.”
The call had fans rolling in the comments of @steveharveyfm’s Instagram page.
