Tisha Campbell-Martin wants her estranged husband Duane Martin to pay up on spousal support and she says the expensive shirts in his closet are proof of why he should be responsible.
Newly filed legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal the former “Martin” star says Martin has more than 500 shirts in his wardrobe that cost $1,500 each, the total of which amounts to $750,000. As for how she learned of the pricey tops, Campbell-Martin said she saw a video of her husband of 20 years bragging about them.
The filing also outlines Campbell-Martin’s financial needs. It states she has $1.5 million in assets and needs spousal support since she doesn’t have a steady income. Her last full-time role came on Fox’s “Dr. Ken,” which was canceled in 2017, and she also starred in this year’s film “Blindspotting.”
As for her expenses, Campbell-Martin cites at least $33,000 of charges to take care of each month. She estimates her spouse earns $62,000 monthly. Despite those numbers, there was no report of exactly how much in monthly support Campbell-Martin is seeking from Duane Martin.
This is the latest messy development in the saga of the Martins’ divorce. At the beginning of August, Martin requested that his wife pay him spousal support. She, however, wants the court to block that request.
At the time, fans were skeptical over Martin asking for spousal support from the woman with whom he shares sons Xen, 16, and Ezekiel, 8.
“Tell him to use the money he was stashing#manup.”
“There’s something so cringe about a man demanding money from a woman… like ew bum.”
And back in June, TMZ reported Campbell-Martin accused Martin of hiding money during their marriage, but it’s not known how much money she believes her husband was keeping from her. Martin slammed the claim as “patently false.”
The Martins’ marriage has been plagued by financial woes in recent years. Campbell-Martin filed to divorce Martin this year after separating two years earlier.
