D.L. Hughley Shreds Trump and His Administration’s Request for ‘Civility’

During an interview with MSNBC, actor D.L. Hughley shined light on President Trump’s offensive actions and his officials who called for “civility.”

Hughley appeared on the network Monday night and explained that Trump’s outrageous behavior and disrespect towards Black people, women, Muslims and other minority groups are “lowering the norms of civility.”

The comedian also mentioned people who made an uproar about Democratic supporters confronting Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the “Red Hen” and compared the incident to the Tea Party carrying guns to Barack Obama’s presidential rallies.

Hughley added, “This president is racist, homophobic, xenophobic, and I think Islamophobic. … He’s definitely lowered the blue book on the presidencies.”

He continued, “You have administrative officials quoting the same scriptures that were used to keep Black people slaves and used it to keep young immigrant children in cages.”

Hughley said he tried being understanding of Americans who voted for Trump during the first election, but the commander-in-chief’s actions have clearly proved he’s a racist.

“I’m not saying that everybody who supports Donald Trump is a racist. But his supporters definitely don’t think racism is a disqualifier,” Hughley stated.
