Angela Bassett celebrated her 60th birthday with a jam session with family and friends. A video of Bassett was shared on social media showing the actress grooving and having the best time ever.
Bassett, dancing to “Plain Jane” by ASAP Ferg and Nicki Minaj, looked gorgeous in a red hot jumpsuit that perfectly showed off her slamming body. The award-winning actress invited a few of her industry friends including Beyonce’s mom Tina Lawson, former BET executive Debra Lee, Regina King, Tasha Smith, Snoop Dogg, Gabourey Sidibe, and a few others.
On her actual birthday, August 18, Bassett posted a flawless photo of her in a multi-colored two-piece swimsuit.

Although many may think it is a compliment to tell Bassett she “looks good for her age”, she thinks otherwise. “I guess it’s a high-class problem to have. But you don’t really know what to say when someone says: ‘Oh, my God, you look so good [for 59],” she told Net-a-Porter Magazine earlier this year. She continued, “What do they expect? For you to be completely broken down?”
