Fans In Stitches as Halle Berry Pokes Fun at Prince Harry for His Apparent Schoolboy Crush on Her

Halle Berry’s status as a sex symbol was firmly cemented by the early 2000s, so the fact that her likeness was posted up in Prince Harry’s boarding school dorm room should come as no surprise.

Photos of the Duke of Sussex in his room during his time at Eton College in Windsor, England, resurfaced in The Daily Mail Tuesday, August 28, and one , in particular, pushed Berry to poke some fun at Prince Harry.

“Ok #PrinceHarry, I see you! 🤣 #HalleBerryPosta @MissyElliott,” the actress tweeted Wednesday. The hashtag and tagging Missy Elliot highlights a lyric in the rapper’s 2002 song “Work It,” which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

The photos of Prince Harry, who wed former “Suits” actress Meghan Markle in a royal wedding ceremony back in May, were taken in 2003 when the royal was 18 years old. He attended Eton beginning in 1998.

Folks weren’t so interested in the details of the photo’s history, however. Many were intrigued by the duke’s history of being interested in Black women, despite having dated white women like Zimbabwean businesswoman Chelsy Davy.

“Yoooooooooo, Harry been down with the swirl for a minute 😍😍😍”

“The Black Delegation trades Kanye West for Prince Harry.”

“I guess we shouldn’t be surprised he married Megan Markle 🤣.”

“And #PrinceHarry never went back. 💅 #MeghanMarkle.”

But it’s not just Harry who has a history of interest in dating outside his race. For Berry’s part, some of her most recent high-profile major relationships have been with non-Black men. In 2013, she tied the knot with Oliver Martinez in an intimate wedding in France. The marriage didn’t last, however, and the two finalized their divorce in 2017. Before then she spent several years with Canadian model Gabriel Aubrey after they began dating in 2006, welcomed a daughter together two years later, and called things off in 2010.
