A fan bumped into her “idol” Andre 3000 after he was walking out of a New York coffee shop on Wednesday.
Twitter user Tiana said she was hanging out in Manhattan and just happened to be sporting a T-shirt with the Outkast rapper’s face on it when she coincidentally ran into him.
“Oh my God you’re on my shirt,” Tiana blurted out. She added, “He was acting just as hype as me, which maximized my level of happiness/excitement x10000. What a good day.”
The fan posted a picture on social media of her and Andre 3000 posing together. The picture has been retweeted at least 17,000 times. Tiana said the Atlanta artist also took two photos of her posing in the shirt that had his face on it.
The Twitter user uploaded a close-up of the shirt created by ALMGHT. It displays 3000 wearing a jumpsuit that he wore on the 2014 Outkast reunion tour, with the inscription “Across cultures, darker people suffer most. Why?” added to the jumpsuit.
The pleasant fan encounter between Tiana and Andre 3000 is still going viral.
She added, “His energy was absolutely amazing though. I just wish I could explain the pause I took as he floated out of the damn coffee shop on this calm ass street lol.”
