Kenya Moore’s pregnancy has been shrouded in chatter about it not being real and now, it seems “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star has firmly responded with some facts about belly size later in her term.
On Tuesday night, the former Miss USA winner posted a couple of screenshots from a Health & Parenting article concerning the various sizes of baby bumps on her Instagram Story.
One of the headings read, “Bump size: Does it matter?”
“In a word – no. The only thing that matters is your healthcare provider’s measurements of the baby,” the article read before noting that there “are a small number of conditions that can affect bump size. These conditions are rare, but your health care provider is trained to spot the symptoms.”
It seemed Moore was also keen on dispelling the notion that her bump was too small. She also included a screenshot of that portion of the article, which pointed out that “people will want to comment on that just as much. From jaws hitting the ground when you say your due date (followed by ‘oh my, but your bump is so tiny’), to questions from friends and family about whether you’re eating properly.”
“The important thing to remember is that there is no right size for your bump,” the article concluded. “All women and all pregnancies are unique. Bump size can be influenced by lots of factors, including the number of pregnancies — first pregnancies tend to be smaller bumps because tummy muscles are tighter.”
This is the first time Moore has addressed her pregnancy belly size head on. Before, the former cover girl straight up slammed the general idea that her pregnancy was fake.
“#FAKENEWS @bet @celebrity_insider_org @theinquisitr shame on you for constantly regurgitating the slanderous fake news from #radaronline,” she fired off on Instagram in May. “Fake Husband, Fake Pregnancy, Fake Boyfriends, Fake Storyline, FIred, Fake Divorce. At least be effing original with your hateful lies. I’m used to you all making up stories to get clicks off my name but LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE.”
But recently, there has been no doubt that Moore will be welcoming her first child with husband Marc Daly later this year. She recently showed off her baby bump while in D.C. at The Ubiquitous Women’s Expo over the weekend.
