Kandi Burruss Makes Big Announcement About Old Lady Gang Restaurant Debuting at Phillips Arena

Kandi Burruss is not slowing down when it comes to her Atlanta restaurant Old Lady Gang. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star on Thursday shared that her 1-year-old eatery will see its menu included at Phillips Arena, home to the Atlanta Hawks basketball team.

“I have been keeping this to myself but now I can finally announce that we will have an @oldladygang in the #PhillipsArena!!!! I’m so excited!” Burruss eagerly shared on Instagram Aug. 15. “Tonight they unveiled some of the new things they’re bringing to the newly renovated arena. I’m thankful to be a part of that. I’m also thankful that the first concert that will be in the new #PhillipsArena will be the #SoSoDef tour! So I get to be on stage & then meet you at my restaurant in the food court…😂. Swipe left to see our new #soulsandwich (fried chicken breast, collard greens, & mac n cheese). @todd167 ♥️ #Blessed #TrueToAtlanta #LetsGoHawks.”

The arena’s grand opening is Oct. 20 and the following day it will host one of the first stops on Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def 25th Anniversary Cultural Curren$y tour, on which Burruss will perform with Xscape.

Just as they have when Burruss announced her other recent makeup venture, fans swooped in to congratulate the performer’s accomplishment with her husband Todd Tucker.

“Boss!! U better go head S-HERO!! CONGRATS @Kandi and @todd167!”

“Congratulations may God continue to bless you and your family.”

“@kandi you are awesome, the essence of a butterfly who continues to evolve. You are a true boss lady and set a wonderful example for your female youth. Thank you for being you! Stay blessed.”

“@kandi you really are a BOSS #noceilings #skysthelimit #gettintothemoney frfr 👫🏿💰.”

It’s the latest development for Burruss and Tucker in their OLG restaurant. Earlier this summer, the couple gave a peek into construction for their second location since the first eatery spot has been a huge success since opening in 2017.

“Over a year later and lines are still down the block! Thank you for all the support! God is good!” Tucker said on Instagram in July of the restaurant.
