CEO of Black Beauty Brand Mane Choice Gifts Daughter’s Teacher with Brand New Car

An entrepreneur’s act of kindness left an unsuspecting teacher in tears after the woman gifted her with a shiny new car, replete with a big blue bow and all.

Courtney Adeleye, CEO of hair care brand The Mane Choice, said she knew she had to step in after she and her husband learned their daughters’ teacher was catching the bus to and from work every morning.

“When my husband had mentioned her and her situation, it was like something just kind, came over me,” Adeleye said.

Recognizing the teacher’s need for reliable transportation as well as her dedication to get to work every day, the entrepreneur knew it was her time to pay it forward. A video posted to her Instagram account captured the moment Adeleye led the teacher outside, prepping her for the generous gift she was about to receive.

“Oh my god,” she exclaims when she first lays eyes on the car. “You’re kidding, right? I don’t even know what to say.”

“We don’t want you to have to catch the bus to get to work,” Adeleye says, handing over the keys.

The tears continued to flow as the teacher, visibly moved, embraced Adeleye and her husband, thanking them a thousand times over. The hair brand CEO said she was more than happy to do the good deed and described her children’s’ teacher as “the sweetest person you would ever want to meet!”

“When you ask me to define success….this is my response!,” she wrote. “Give to those without expectations.”

This isn’t Adeleye’s first random act of kindness, however, and it likely won’t be her last. The brand CEO is known for having a big heart and giving back to those in her community. While still growing her now-million-dollar company, Adeleye launched the “Pay It Forward,” social media giveaway where she paid off a bill of one of her brand’s followers every week, according to Forbes.

“Service is her modus operandi,” the magazine stated.
