Rapper Nicki Minaj has been the topic of conversation lately among “Revolt” personality Joe Budden and ex-boyfriend Safaree.
On Thursday’s episode of Budden’s podcast “Face Tune” on SoundCloud, the rapper alluded that Minaj’s recent behavior is an indication of drug use. He blurted, “Let’s all try to guess the drugs that Nicki Minaj is on… Somebody should watch her usage… Nicki Minaj is 100% on something.”

Budden who struggled with drug addiction in the past said he’s familiar with the signs of a person dealing with substance abuse. He referenced the video of Minaj’s screeching reaction while opening up her gift of a Chanel purse as a “confirmation” that she’s “on something.” He then went into detail about Meek Mill being hooked on pills while he was in a relationship with her.
“I’m not trying to be funny here. I really think that somebody should intervene, it’s getting progressively worse,” Budden stated.
He also implied that Minaj’s ferocious direct messaging response on Twitter to a writer was another indication that the star was on drugs. Budden said that Minaj forgetting her age could have been the effect of the substance.
Fans blasted the “Pump It Up” rapper on social media and said he was wrong for creating “rumors.”

However, Budden isn’t the only one fans are blasting for mentioning the “Queen” artist. Minaj’s ex-boyfriend of 12 years Safaree took to Instagram to post photos of the royalty checks he received for his birthday that equated to $2,342.33.
He wrote, “Wth I jus get this random music biz check from??? 55 yrs later wat da hell. Happy birthday to me!”
One person wrote, “He needs more Nicki career has been sucking since they broke up!”
Another added, “He stay riding her fame.”
Safaree co-wrote Minaj’s hit songs “Did It On ‘em” and “Roman’s Revenge,” which both debuted on 2010’s “Pink Print.”
The “Chun-Li” rapper has yet to respond to Budden’s drug allegations and is enjoying creating music. She recently revealed on Instagram that she plans on remixing Ella Mai’s single “Bood’ Up. She’s also dropping her new album “Queen” on August 10.
